Piroska

by Focus On Music
Price $ 65.00

Piroska is a lyrical ballad influenced by composer, Michele Kalo's Hungarian heritage. This piece is a wonderful Grade 2.5 piece to teach phrasing, 3/4 time and the beauty of folk-like melodies. The title Piroska comes from the word piros, the Hungarian word for "red," or "little red one." The red color is regarded by the Hungarians as something very beautiful and rich.

Piroska was written for the 2010 New Horizons Music Camp in Chautauqua, NY.
